3. Cách tạo danh từ số nhiều

- Số ít = số nhiều: fish, sheep, deer, craft, aircraft (three deer, không phải
deers). - Luôn số nhiều: clothes, police, scissors, pants, trousers, glasses → động từ chia số nhiều (The police are…).
- Tận cùng -s nhưng là số ít/không đếm được: news, physics, mathematics, mumps, measles, rickets, billiards → News is…, Measles is…
- Danh từ chỉ số nhiều sẵn: algae (số ít là alga), people, children → không thêm -s nữa (
childrens'→ children's).
